Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in sunny Miami, Florida! We are looking for a dedicated and efficient individual to accurately pick and pack customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order slips, ensuring accuracy and speed. This role is vital to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be a key component in our fast-paced fulfillment process, contributing to the efficient movement of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Assist with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the picking and packing areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Notify supervisors of any discrepancies in inventory or damaged items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform duties related to logistics and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability of frequent lifting, typically up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
