We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work closely with other team members to meet operational goals and ensure customer satisfaction. We emphasize Safety and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper quality control.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organized inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Prepare shipments for outbound logistics, including labeling and manifesting.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Team player attitude and good communication skills.
