About
We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. In this fast-paced role, you will be essential to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing items for shipment to ensure they arrive safely, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will be involved in physical tasks, including regular lifting and moving of products. Our logistics team relies on your accuracy and efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction. Safety is a core value; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the consistent use of provided PPE are mandatory. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and thrives in a dynamic warehouse environment. While prior picking and packing experience is advantageous, it is not strictly required, as comprehensive training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
