About
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various warehouse systems and machinery, ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, sorters, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and other machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Operate various hand and power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the logistics team by ensuring operational readiness of the warehouse infrastructure.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
