Responsibilities:
- Verify and record the quantity and quality of incoming goods.
- Assemble orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and update system records.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks efficiently.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse organized and free of clutter.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory promptly.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
- Undertake other general warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Capacity for manual labor, including regular lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with warehouse software systems is beneficial.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to use required PPE, such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations and inventory management.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Flexibility with work schedules is a plus.
