We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our facility in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will contribute to the core operations of our warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position is fundamental to our logistics success and requires a commitment to detail and quality. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock merchandise onto shelves and into designated storage areas.
- Pick products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy in item and quantity.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipments for carriers, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all company safety rules and wear required PPE .
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Assist in various warehouse tasks as needed to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
