Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, choosing appropriate packaging materials.
- Label shipments correctly for transit.
- Verify order accuracy to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment and on-time shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional overtime.
Physical Demands:
This position involves significant physical activity, including prolonged standing and walking. The role requires regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Employees must be able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently. Adherence to Safety standards and the consistent use of PPE are mandatory. Work is performed in a warehouse setting.
