Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Locate and retrieve items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- A commitment to a safe working environment and logistics best practices.
Physical Demands:
This position requires significant physical exertion, including frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally. The role involves working in a warehouse setting which may have varying temperatures.
