In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and ensuring they are packed safely and securely for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve ordered items from warehouse shelves accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping boxes, using correct dunnage.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Use RF scanners to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory checks and report any stock discrepancies.
- Meet established quotas for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Understand and execute tasks within the broader logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Capability to perform regular lifting of items weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic safety practices in a logistics setting.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
