Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner technology.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely for shipment, using appropriate materials and equipment.
- Stage orders for shipping, ensuring they are organized and ready for pickup.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged products to supervisors.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and job function.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, including stocking and cycle counts.
- This role involves frequent movement and potential lifting of items.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels accurately.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 30-40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a logistics setting.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and the use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse flow is beneficial.
