Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing procedures to minimize errors. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of inventory management systems and best practices. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, recommending reorder points and quantities.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent loss and damage.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately within the WMS.
  • Generate inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all logistics and warehousing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area, including proper labeling and placement of goods.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed to ensure accurate inventory intake.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
  • Support lifting and material handling by understanding optimal storage solutions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
