We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring products are stored, retrieved, and transported efficiently and safely. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations and requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety. You will be involved in various tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking orders, and staging materials for shipment. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions precisely is essential. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and manual Lifting of materials. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also expected. This role is a cornerstone of our Logistics network, contributing to the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse floor. A good understanding of warehouse layouts and product flow is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Move materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Familiarity with PPE and Safety protocols.
