The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift license and a strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials, performing daily equipment inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be involved in order picking, put-away, and assisting with inventory control. A meticulous approach to Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to wear all required PPE and follow company guidelines rigorously. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets, materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock put-away.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear all required PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Support the overall logistics team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving items.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing PPE.
