We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks essential to the logistics process. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all company Safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform frequent Lifting of boxes and items, often up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial. Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting for extended periods. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines is essential. Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE is required. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Basic understanding of inventory management is a plus.
