We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper stocking and cycle counting.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards immediately.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform physical labor, including frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and following instructions is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of basic inventory management principles is a plus. Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
