We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our San Antonio, Texas warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics operations. Your attention to detail will be critical in minimizing discrepancies and supporting smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
- Track the movement of inventory within the facility.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes, ensuring proper documentation.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory data.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired stock.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Understanding of safety practices and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
