Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are protected.
- Operate picking equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet picking and packing goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Good reading comprehension and basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to use necessary PPE, such as gloves and safety vests.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory flow.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
