Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
- Prepare and package outgoing orders with precision.
- Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- Document and report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Engage in team efforts to meet daily productivity metrics.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Willingness to wear and utilize all necessary PPE, including steel-toed boots.
- Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
- A proactive approach to safety and hazard identification.
- Ability to adapt to changing work demands and schedules.
