Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced logistics facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse systems and machinery, including conveyors, sorting systems, and material handling equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required. This position demands excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations. You will also play a role in ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and by performing routine safety checks on equipment. This role may involve significant lifting and physical tasks related to equipment repair and maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Install and commission new equipment.
- Conduct safety inspections of all machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with the setup and reconfiguration of warehouse layouts.
- Perform tasks involving significant lifting and manual dexterity.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of our logistics infrastructure.
