Basic Collision Repair Instructor

Job Summary: Provides instruction to students in classroom and shop environments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides instruction to students across all relevant subjects in accordance with the Training Achievement Record (TAR). The topics to be covered include Safety, Panel repairs, replacements and adjustments; metal finishing; welding and additional subjects.
• Facilitates administration of all relevant student certification testing.
• Assists in the completion of all necessary Job Corps forms and documents.
• Responsible for accountability of all equipment, supplies, and materials within classroom and under custodianship. Conducts quarterly inventory of classroom equipment and materials.
• Responsible for reports required by the Supervisor such as monthly reports on case-management of students, purchase requisitions, and weekly student evaluations.
• •Establishes & Maintains and relationships with student internship sites. Works with the Work-based Learning Coordinator to schedule and facilitate all student internships and work experiences for students to obtain hands-on work experience.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum : State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization. No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified, he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area. Must have the ability to
