Position Summary

The Financial Manager is fully responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Toyo Solar Texas LLC. This role provides leadership to the finance team, ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains robust cost accounting processes, and supports the company's strategic and operational goals. The Financial Manager will work closely with headquarters, department leaders, external auditors, and key business partners.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Team Leadership

  • Oversee all financial operations for Toyo Solar Texas LLC.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and local regulations.

2. Financial Accounting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end close.
  • Maintain the QuickBooks (QB) accounting system and SOS costing system.
  • Review business and production documents to ensure complete and accurate recording in all systems.

3. Cost Accounting Oversight

  • Ensure accurate costing by monitoring procurement, material requisitions, production usage, finished goods inventory, and outbound shipments.
  • Oversee the cost accounting framework to ensure data integrity and accurate product costing.

4. Annual Budgeting

  • Prepare the annual budget and update forecasts as needed.
  • Work with key departments to monitor budget performance and variance explanations.

5. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial reports to headquarters by the 5th of each month.
  • Maintain high-quality reporting standards.

6. Tax Management

  • Oversee monthly sales tax and other required tax filings.
  • Manage annual tax reconciliation and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors as needed.

7. Audit Coordination

  • Support external and internal audit activities, including annual and quarterly audits.
  • Ensure proper documentation, timely responses, and corrective actions when required.

8. Accounts Reconciliation & Relationship Management

  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct quarterly reconciliations with suppliers and customers regarding outstanding balances.
