Construction Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Perform maintenance tasks and projects
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
• Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
• Assist with site inspections and report any safety hazards or issues to supervisors
• Support project teams in moving materials, cleaning work areas, and other general labor tasks as needed
• Help coordinate deliveries of materials and supplies to ensure timely project progress

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
• Self starter and motivated
• Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience or familiarity with construction tools is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license is required for transportation purposes

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
