Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavioral therapy programs based on treatment plans developed by licensed clinicians, ensuring consistency and fidelity to ABA principles
• Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Support patient assessments and intake procedures by gathering relevant information and observing behaviors in various settings
• Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments to identify needs and develop tailored interventions
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and legal standards are met
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care plans, including special education professionals and medical staff
• Engage with children and individuals with disabilities using positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill development and independence

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures is advantageous
• Experience in data collection, documentation, and maintaining HIPAA compliance ensures high-quality care delivery
• Background working within behavioral health or special education environments demonstrates your ability to adapt to diverse needs
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members are vital for success in this role
