About

Designer – Visual Communications

We are seeking a Designer – Visual Communications to create accurate, production-ready visual assets that support CMF direction, product development, and marketing communication. This role works closely with Design, Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure visual consistency, manufacturability, and clear communication across customer-facing and internal materials.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Visual Communication

  • Prepare and refine customer artwork for prototyping and production
  • Create Production Design Templates (PDTs) and finalize artwork setups
  • Develop seamless digital patterns, surface graphics, and texture references
  • Support CMF development from concept through commercialization
  • Apply strong conceptual thinking while ensuring designs are manufacturable
  • Maintain accurate records, material libraries (digital and physical), and design documentation
  • Solve design challenges across multiple requirements and timelines
  • Support CMF storytelling through concept boards, swatch layouts, and visual presentations

Marketing & Digital Assets

  • Design layouts for product brochures and marketing materials (print and digital)
  • Create graphics for websites, presentations, videos, animations, and digital campaigns
  • Support trade show graphics, signage, and material labeling
  • Develop mockups for packaging, sample kits, and presentation tools
  • Maintain visual consistency across product lines and branded materials

Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interpret customer feedback and support color matching and design revisions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and suppliers to align design intent
  • Provide visual support for workshops, brainstorming sessions, and business development needs
  • QA marketing materials prior to release and archive completed projects
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of professional design experience, preferably in CMF, materials, or product design
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong visual, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment
  • Bonus: Motion design, photography, video editing, or prototyping experience
Additional Requirements
  • Must meet U.S. export regulations (ITAR and EAR Part 772 eligibility)
  • International travel approximately 15–25%
  • Ability to perform detailed visual work, including color discrimination testing
