Job Summary:
Will work closely with the Department of Medicine Chair's Office to manage all day-to-day administrative functions within the Division of Cardiology. Coordinate with the Department of Medicine Administrative Manager on department wide administrative process improvements.
Duties Include:
- Supervision of division Sr. Administrative Specialist
- Processing time off requests, approving ADP timecard
- Administrative support to the Division Chief of Cardiology, Director of EP Lab, and Director of Cardiovascular Imaging
- Manage day to day administrative functions within the division of cardiology by collaborating with Fellowship Coordinator and Sr. Administrative Specialist
- Coordinate daily calendars with the Heart and Vascular Center
- Assist with processing research grants
- Manage division faculty recruitment and onboarding
- Prepare and process expense reimbursements, credentialing applications, and medical staff documentation
- Assist with administrative aspects of the faculty educational and clinical responsibilities provide cross-coverage for other divisional administrative staff as needed
- Assist with department wide administrative process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Division and Department
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, competency in appropriate computer software applications, and good organizational skills.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday daytime hours
