Position Summary
Foresight is seeking candidates to perform construction scheduling duties for transportation (highway, bridge, and transit) in Texas. This role is a great fit for an early career professional who wants to develop CPM scheduling skills and support high-impact infrastructure work. You'll join a growing team where you can wear multiple hats, contribute to service expansion, and help shape how we deliver scheduling support statewide.
In this role, you will:
• Review and analyze CPM schedules for high-impact transportation infrastructure projects across Texas
• Track progress and assess critical path impacts
• Support project teams and clients with schedule analysis, reporting, and dispute resolution
• Contribute to growing Foresight's construction scheduling service offerings

Roles and Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and help grow the company's construction scheduling service offerings. We are seeking individuals with a general understanding of transportation construction methodology and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. While prior experience in one or both areas is preferred, we are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate a strong interest in developing these skills.
Key roles/responsibilities may include, but not be limited to performance and/or oversight of the following:
• Review and analyze schedules using CPM for the delivery of transportation projects
• Ensuring schedule compliance with relevant contract requirements

• Interacting directly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address scheduling issues
• Preparing or reviewing technical analysis reports, presentations, and/or executive summaries
• Assisting with quality control review for schedule deliverables
• Providing business development and operations support as needed
Job Location
This role is located at Foresight's Austin, Texas headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule: four days in office and one day remote, with opportunities to increase remote days in the future.

Less than 25% travel is expected to attend project meetings and conferences at various locations throughout Texas. Periodic site visits may also be required, involving standing and walking outdoors on uneven terrain in varying weather conditions and the proper use of PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hat, reflective vest, gloves, eye protection).
Physical Requirements
This role is primarily office-based and aligns with U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) standards for professional/administrative work. Duties require extended sitting, computer use, reading, and participation in meetings, with occasional standing or light lifting of standard office materials. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed to perform essential job functions.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or Associate's degree in project management, or related field(s)
• 0-3 years of experience performing project scheduling, project controls, and/or construction management duties for transportation, utility, oil and gas, building/architectural, or other infrastructure projects
• Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with others (including project team members and/or external stakeholders) to identify and address project issues
