Project Controls Analyst - Onsite (Texas)

Full-Time | Field-Based | EPC / Power / Renewables

A growing Project Management Office (PMO) team is seeking an
onsite Project Controls Analyst
to support an active project in Texas. This role is ideal for candidates with
2–4 years of project controls or scheduling experience
, especially those coming from
solar, wind, power generation, or EPC field environments
who excel on remote, boots-on-the-ground project sites.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with development and maintenance of the project master schedule
  • Track schedule baselines, progress, performance, and variances
  • Support productivity analysis, impact reviews, schedule updates, and monthly reporting
  • Prepare cost and hour forecasts with minimal supervision
  • Lead and maintain quantity tracking and reporting
  • Provide database and payroll support, including data integrity checks, user setup, and documentation
  • Support proposal efforts including L1 schedules, scopes, bid packages, manpower/resource curves, and execution plans
  • Conduct QA/QC testing and assist with audit requirements
  • Develop and maintain
    Power BI dashboards
    for payroll, manpower, and safety
  • Review project documents to identify potential impacts and risks
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and project controls standards

What You Bring

  • 3+ years
    of project controls or scheduling experience — renewables, power generation, industrial, or EPC strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, not required)
  • Proficiency in
    Primavera P6
    and understanding of schedule logic and construction sequencing
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with
    Power BI
    is a plus
  • Experience with EPC change management (a plus)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing project conditions and shifting priorities
  • Team-focused mindset and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional growth
