We are looking for a talented Cost Analyst to join our team specializing in Finance for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fridley, MN.

Creating and maintaining costing for new items helps ensure accurate pricing and margin analysis from product launch onward. - Improve Financial Transparency
Conducting cost audits and variance analysis will uncover hidden issues and provide clarity on cost drivers across departments. - Enhance Inventory Valuation Accuracy
Your involvement in inventory valuation ensures that financial statements reflect true inventory costs, supporting compliance and audit readiness. - Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
By identifying data needs and working with other departments, you'll foster collaboration and streamline data flows for better analysis. - Strengthen Strategic Presentations
Preparing analysis and presentation materials for leadership helps translate complex data into actionable insights, influencing high-level decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field or studying for accounting entry qualifications.
Experience:
Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.

Core responsibilities:
- This role will be responsible for completing the quarterly reactive costing process. Including interpreting, analyzing and communicating the current costing trends to stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.
