Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our data center environment, creating a pristine and efficient workspace that supports optimal operations. Your proactive approach and dedication will help maintain the high standards required for sensitive and high-tech environments, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our data infrastructure.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of data center floors, workstations, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Maintain and operate floor care equipment, including buffing machines and vacuums, to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities in both industrial and commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness protocols.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for cleaning equipment or facility infrastructure.
• Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or disruptions to data center operations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently without impacting critical data center functions.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with a focus on facilities maintenance.
• Strong janitorial and custodial skills, including floor care, buffing, and detailed cleaning techniques.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to industrial cleaning.
• Experience with residential painting or maintenance tasks is a plus for minor touch-ups around the facility.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shift hours.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with other departments involved in facility upkeep. Pay: $22.00 per hour
