Project Lead The Way

The
Quality Analyst
collaborates with IT staff to identify issues, automation opportunities and potential improvements within business and system requirements, create test plans, execute test cases, and report defects. This role is essential in ensuring that systems and software meet quality expectations as well as the needs of customers, both internal and external, in alignment with PLTW's strategic objectives. Occasional travel required.
PLTW IS SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH:
- An Associate degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field of study, or equivalent related experience.
- Knowledge of quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium.
- Software Testing or Quality Assurance Certification (preferred).
- Proficiency with issue tracking systems (i.e. JIRA, Confluence) and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience developing and executing test cases and scripts based on business and system requirements, and design documentation.
- The ability to lead the documentation and maintenance of testing strategies, best practices, plans, and procedures.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with a team of Business Analysts, UX Designers, development resources, and other Quality Analysts.
- Experience identifying, recording, and tracking defects to resolution.
- The ability to conduct regression testing, performance testing, smoke testing, and stress testing as needed.
- Identify automation opportunities by designing, writing, and executing automated tests.

- Experience documenting and communicating test results and providing feedback to IT Team and business stakeholders as needed.
- The desire to contribute to the successful implementation, validation, delivery, and adoption of defined solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a remote-first team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
- Creative and critical thinking with a concentration on being flexible and adaptable.
- Excellent judgment and ability to adapt to changing priorities with ease and efficiency.
