South of Beale is looking for a Culinary Manager to help lead our close-knit group of employees in fulfilling our mission of providing exceptional service through our unique Asian-American fare served in an upscale casual atmosphere.
This is a service-focused position where the CM would be in charge of managing the shift as MOD as well as be responsible for all food orders, BOH scheduling and anything within the kitchen.
The perfect candidate is someone who believes in winning the team over through hard work, dedication and humility, and someone who is willing to pitch in wherever it is needed Being bilingual in English and Spanish would be extremely helpful in this role

Mission of the Culinary Manager
Assist the GM in establishing (with the support of the Leadership Team) the management system of the restaurant going forward and to increase sales year-to-year.

Identify and establish efficiencies in the all areas of the operation that will incrementally decrease our costs

Qualifications
- Strong background in staff training, management, and hospitality
- Proficient in food service management, kitchen management, and team supervision
- Experience in fast-paced food environments and fine dining establishments
- Skilled in inventory control, cash handling, and POS systems
- Familiarity with casual dining, banquet services, and catering operations
