About the Role:
The IT Business Systems Analyst (ITBSA) is the vital bridge connecting technology and business. In this dynamic role, you'll transform complex business needs into clear technical requirements, enabling innovative solutions that drive organizational success. Acting as the liaison between IT, development teams, and end users, you'll ensure seamless communication and collaboration at every stage. This position calls for a sharp analytical mind, exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence. Beyond analysis, you'll play a key role in project management for IT initiatives, dedicating about 25% of your time to tasks like timeline tracking, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Liaise directly with business areas to identify key requirements and initiate designs of applications, conferring with user groups to define business needs and potential solutions based on application capabilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, developers, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Facilitate and lead meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather input and feedback
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects by coordinating tasks, maintaining documentation, and preparing reports
  • Create and maintain process documentation, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with teams to design efficient technology solutions
  • Contribute to the delivery of technology solutions that are intuitive and aligned with business requirements
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and help ensure timely resolution of projects
  • Define systems requirements, design, and prototype business processes and text complex functionality
  • Act as a subject matter expert by training and providing guidance to end users and fellow IS team members
