We're seeking dedicated Behavior Support Professionals (DSP-1 CAL) who are passionate about making a real difference.
In this role, you'll work directly with adults in community-based settings— implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), fostering choice and self-advocacy, creating supportive environments, and documenting progress to ensure growth and quality care.

Your Role & Responsibilities –
- Utilize crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals, staff, and the community during behavioral incidents.
- Assist individuals with self-care and activities of daily living, providing the appropriate level of support. Depending on the program, can include making meals, money skills, shopping, leisure, toileting, eating, medication administration, transportation and maintaining presentable appearance.
- Provide transportation for clients and students assigned for planned outings, school or day program, appointments, and all other required transportation.
- Honor individual choice whenever possible based on the safety of the individual's needs and restrictions.
- Maintain all administration and documentation of client's and student's medication and the ability to provide first aid treatment and/or medical attention; instructed by nursing staff.
- Develop creative and client-appropriate activities requires understanding the interests, abilities, and preferences of the individuals involved.
Qualifications –
- Experience working with individuals who have severe behavior and learning disorders.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- At least 6 months of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Salary –
$25.00 Hourly
Status –
Full-Time | Monday-Friday
