Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and cleaning processes
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, manage open/close procedures, and process payments securely
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and resetting tables quickly during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Support other team members as needed, including hosting or hostessing duties during peak hours or staff shortages

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable reservations is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Previous experience in serving at nightclubs or hospitality venues is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift trays or boxes, and perform cleaning tasks as needed
