Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and professionalism. Experience with POS systems and knowledge of fine dining standards are highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering guest loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS System
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to answer guest questions effectively
  • Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality standards are met

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
  • Familiarity with Toast and Opentable is a plus
  • Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items and foster guest loyalty
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends, including culinary techniques and beverage pairings is advantageous
  • Prior host or bussing experience can be beneficial but is not required

Pay: From $11.35 per hour
