About
The Regional Director of Distribution will be responsible for providing inspiration, coaching, and support to the Distribution Centre Managers in their Region. In this role, the Regional Director of Distribution will assist in the development of annual Distribution budgets, and Key Performance Metrics, while then working with their Distribution leaders to manage each team's performance results against those budgeted goals. The Regional Director will also oversee Safety & Compliance and ensure the company's policies and procedures are adhered to in each of their Distribution Centers.
Core Duties:
- Formulate, document, and communicate operational plans, standards, and goals as set by the RVP Distribution and the Executive Management Team.
- Travel to Distribution Centers in the region to audit; safety, process execution, progress, and team development/engagement.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous approvement across all facilities in the region.
- Responsible for decisions and final recommendations, which may result in the formulation of a strategic plan of actions to achieve the brand objectives of the organization.
- Develop objectives, targets, metrics, and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans.
- Manage the actions and commitments of building leaders.
- Regularly monitor the regional performance against agreed upon performance commitments and initiatives and identify and implement specific initiatives to address performance shortfalls.
- Demonstrate the company's values in all aspects of their work performance.
- Manage and mitigate risk across all facilities in the region.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address.

- Inventory Control Cycle Count Accuracy
- Distribution Thruput
- Distribution Financial Performance (Percentage of Expense to Sales)
- Team engagement (turnover/team member engagement scores)
- Safety Compliance
Experience:
- 5+ years of management experience in delivery, distribution, logistics, and/or facility management with warehousing required.
- 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
- P&L Management of up to $400 million in annual sales.
Education:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of leadership experience in Logistics, Transportation, Operations Strategy, or Supply Chain Management in a national retail environment.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Core Competencies:
- Must possess strong analytical skills using data and reporting.
- Intermediate to Expert user in Software Applications (Word, Excel, Access/SQL, Outlook, WMS Systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience.
- The confidence to take calculated risks, make strategic, results-oriented decisions, and accept responsibility for the results (positive or negative).
- Experience in managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Annual Salary: $124,944.00 - $187,415.00
Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
