Industrial Fabric Products Inc., a family-owned company specializing in the online sale of tarps, covers, and industrial fabric products, is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to help grow our B2B presence. This role requires an individual who can take initiative, build strong relationships, and actively seek out new business opportunities. We're seeking someone with proven sales expertise and a passion for driving business growth. You will develop a team of motivated professionals who share our vision, helping us expand our market reach through strategic partnerships and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand our current sales pipeline, while actively pursuing new business opportunities in key industries such as Construction, Oil & Gas, and Government sectors.
- Take charge of creating and delivering proposals and presentations to nurture relationships and establish new business partnerships.
- Identify industry trends and customer needs to develop a sales pipeline aligned with short-, medium-, and long-term growth targets.
- Formulate strategies to assess and integrate new business ventures into the company's offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement strategic initiatives and ensure the execution of key business objectives.
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
- Identify and engage decision-makers, evaluate business opportunities, and guide pitch presentations and negotiations.
- Develop and refine outbound sales strategies, teams, processes, and best practices to align with overall company objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge through networking, attending events, and making presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Management (or a related field).
- Proven success in B2B sales and negotiation, with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to effectively engage customers and stakeholders.
- Customer-focused, adaptable, resilient, and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM software
