Your main responsibilities

General Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for executing tactical analytics related to demand forecasting and supply planning during the 4-month contract. This role collaborates closely with Supply Chain teams to identify and resolve order variances to forecast, create KPI reporting for forecast accuracy and bias, and identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, enjoys working with complex data sets, and is comfortable drawing conclusions and recommending solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Forecasting, Demand & Inventory Analytics

• Analyze historical trends and recommend forecast adjustments
• Create, analyze, and report forecast accuracy and bias; identify improvement opportunities
• Compare customer orders to forecast to identify potential shortages or delays
• Conduct shortage risk analysis and escalate risks as needed
• Prepare aging and excess inventory analyses; develop excess lists following post-aging meetings
