Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of construction and handyman type tasks, ensuring every project is completed on time, and to the highest quality of standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency
- Maintain and build relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure all operations comply with legal and safety standards.
- Order materials and provide logistical support to the suppliers, vendors, and sales team
- Communicate with the owners of the projects providing them with dates and times when you will be on site and the expectations of the projects
- Answer all inquiries from current customers and provide them with the information they are requesting promptly
Requirements
- Overall knowledge of all trades, including trim carpentry, tiling, flooring, painting, drywalling, light plumbing and light electrical
- Must have hands-on experience with trim installs including cabinets, hanging doors, and built-ins.
- Strong understanding of standard and finish carpentry operations and methods
- Familiarity with blueprint reading
- Ability and desire to problem solve and a willingness to learn new skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trim carpentry and other miscellaneous construction skills, remodeling construction experience considered a plus
- Drivers license
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of remodeling techniques, materials, and industry regulations and standards
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and drive
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets within specified deadlines
- Knowledge of construction products and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients
- Do not need to be licensed tradesmen, but those candidates are welcome to apply
