Pharmacy Technician with LTC/Compounding Experience

Note: This is a per-diem role

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile products
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries regarding medications and prescriptions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience in a critical care or acute care setting is a plus
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

This Experience:

-data entry: 2 years (Required)

-Pharmacy Technician Experience: 2-3 years (Required)

-LTC and compounding experience is preferred but not required, as we provide comprehensive training. However, candidates must be willing to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting.
