Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to safely and efficiently transport equipment, materials and debris to and from job sites. This role is essential to supporting our operations by ensuring timely deliveries and proper handling of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate has proven driving experience, a strong safety record and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CDL Class A trucks to haul equipment, materials and debris.
  • Load and unload equipment such as excavators, skid steers and other heavy machinery.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance (fluid checks, tires, lights, brakes).
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Communicate with project management and crews to coordinate deliveries.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, DOT regulations and environmental standards.
  • Assist with equipment operation or site-related tasks when not driving.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
  • Prior experience transporting heavy equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and safe hauling practices.
  • Ability to properly secure loads with chains, binders and straps.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites (per diem provided where applicable).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and drive for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for loading/unloading or maintenance needs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in rugged environments.
