About

The Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference Center is seeking a dedicated, polished, and professional Breakfast Server to join our team. Under new ownership, we are entering an exciting period of renovation and rebranding, elevating our guest experience to new luxury standards. We are looking for a service-driven individual who is passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional morning dining experiences. Responsibilities:

  • Provide refined and attentive breakfast service in accordance with fine dining standards.
  • Greet guests promptly with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to elevate their morning experience.
  • Present menus, describe daily specials, and make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Set, maintain, and reset tables with precision, ensuring the dining room is always immaculate and inviting.
  • Carry out all food and beverage service with grace, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of menu items, ingredients, dietary considerations, and beverage offerings.
  • Anticipate guest needs proactively and respond to requests with courtesy and urgency.
  • Experienced in beverage pairing and upselling
  • Skilled in guiding guests through wine, beer, and spirit selections
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure all dishes meet fine dining standards before being served.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of service stations, dining areas, and equipment.
  • Upsell premium items and specialty beverages to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Participate in guest-engagement initiatives, contributing to a warm and memorable dining atmosphere.
  • Support teammates and assist with training new staff members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by restaurant management.
  • Remain aware of guest satisfaction scores and work actively to elevate the restaurant's overall rating and reputation.
  • Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Monitor food quality and temperature, replenishing items as needed.
  • Assist with inventory and notify management of low-stock items.
  • Break down and clean the breakfast area at the end of service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hospitality or F&B, and specifically event experience required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
