Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality or janitorial services, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to protocols
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations
- Develop work schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff based on occupancy levels and operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as necessary
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices and equipment operation
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or special requirements
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning services such as hotel housekeeping, custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a hospitality or facilities maintenance setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence is advantageous
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and interact professionally with guests and management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
