Summary
The Front Desk Concierge is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience. This individual manages front desk operations, patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation
- Collect co-pays, payments, and obtain necessary signatures
- Manage patient flow and communicate delays or updates as needed
Scheduling & Communication
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments across providers and services
- Answer incoming phone calls, voicemails, texts, and portal messages promptly
- Route patient inquiries to appropriate clinical or administrative staff
- Provide general information regarding clinic services, policies, and next steps
Administrative & Office Support
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR/EHR system
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documents
- Coordinate referrals, records requests, and basic insurance-related tasks as assigned
- Support clinic staff with administrative needs to ensure smooth daily operations
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Represent the practice with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office, healthcare front desk, or customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with EMR/EHR systems and basic computer applications
Preferred
- Experience in a specialty medical practice (e.g., fertility, OB/GYN, outpatient clinic)
- Insurance verification or medical billing familiarity
- Bilingual skills a plus

Pay: $ $27.24 per hour
