About the Role:
Position Summary:
The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing excellent service to guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role involves maintaining knowledge of the menu, managing customer requests, and working closely with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Service
o Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and providing information about the restaurant's offerings.
o Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
o Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring correct order delivery.
2. Order Management
o Monitor and manage tables, checking on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or additional requests.
o Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and any other guest needs with attention and professionalism.
o Ensure that all food and drink items are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
3. Table Maintenance
o Set up and clear tables efficiently, ensuring that tables are properly reset between guests.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
o Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed.
