We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee menu planning, development, and implementation to align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing food stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Coordinate food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency across all dishes.
- Oversee catering events, banquets, and special functions, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Monitor kitchen productivity and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Train staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, shift management, and operational planning.
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments.
- Proven supervising experience with team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of banquet operations and dietary department standards.
- Expertise in food production, menu planning, food handling, and food safety protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent inventory management skills including inventory control and food management.
- Experience in kitchen management, restaurant management, or hospitality industry roles.
- Proficiency in food service management, catering coordination, and shift management.
- Skilled in cooking techniques across various cuisines with an emphasis on quality presentation.
