Server (Weekdays & Weekends)

Location: Field-N-Flame Midtown — 1521 L Street, Sacramento, CA

Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Availability (Weekdays & Weekends)

Compensation: $16.50/hour + tips (W-2)

About Us:

Field-N-Flame Midtown is a new Mediterranean–American restaurant located in the heart of Sacramento's cultural district. Known for our thoughtful flavors, curated cocktails, and warm hospitality, we offer a refined yet approachable dining experience that reflects the spirit of Midtown.

We are looking for a well-experienced, professional server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate has a passion for service, a deep understanding of food and beverage, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences during lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and guide guests through our menu and concept
• Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and professionalism
• Deliver orders efficiently and maintain high service standards
• Upsell specials and craft cocktails to enhance guest experience
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Process payments and handle POS operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of serving experience required, ideally in upscale casual or full-service dining
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage, especially wine and cocktails
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
• Availability for a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional during high volume
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Valid California Food Handler Card (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (required by California ABC; must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (W-2 position)
