Join our fast-paced logistics team as an Order Picker in San Jose, California! In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. Utilizing handheld scanners and pick lists, you will navigate the warehouse to locate and collect items, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected every time. Speed and accuracy are key to meeting our service level agreements. Our warehouse operates under strict safety guidelines, and all team members are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols without exception. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting of items up to 50 pounds, as well as prolonged standing, walking, and bending. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanning technology.
- Verify product identification and quantities against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and consolidation.
- Replenish inventory locations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer and scanning skills.
