You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including unloading trucks, sorting inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for delivery. Our warehouse environment is fast-paced and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and expect all associates to adhere to our strict safety protocols. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the warehouse floor. Significant lifting is a regular part of the job, with individual items potentially weighing up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Sort and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick customer orders accurately using scanning technology.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all company policies, especially regarding safety and PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and willingness to use PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
