Seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in the bustling environment of New York City, New York. This role encompasses a variety of tasks essential to our warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will contribute to the smooth flow of inventory and the timely dispatch of orders. This is a hands-on position requiring regular physical exertion, including Lifting and moving goods. Teamwork and a positive attitude are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping and tidying.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work area.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
